Photo Challenge
Find a picture of yourself as a young child.
Attempt to take a picture of yourself now in the same position (ha) and post both.

Day 94

I made stock
from scratch
with a rotisserie
chicken carcass
and it was good.

And so the dog
met the horse
their spots
were similar.

from the mom
who feels satisfaction
when green things sprout
to the child who helps
till the earth.

Day 91

In the desert
it often freezes
at night,
and in the morning
the world is covered
in a crystalline
cover.

Day 90

For Christmas, she asked Santa for very few things.
Among them, a big spot horse, a little spot bunny, and a bicycle.
While looking through catalogs she came across this big spot horse
and claimed it as the one she wanted.
The look of delight on her face when she got it was priceless.

Rhayn asked mainly for a bicycle.
However I neglected to get a picture of her on it,
(besides one my Dad would not like me to post.)
It might have been the rain that was pouring
that kept me from remembering to get one,
or maybe just the chaos of the morning.
In either event, I will get one soon.
She loves her new bike,
even though it isn’t the color she really wanted.
Its the perfect size for her first bike.

Day 89

In our family, t-shirts are always a welcome gift, preferably with some strange saying. Rhayn’s shirt was a Christmas gift, but I let her open it early. In the background is my brother, and his super awesome WoW guild shirt. Sweet.

Not all of the family was going to be around on Christmas day, so we opened gifts with my brother’s family.

Day 88

Move along lil’ doggy.
Its not quittin’ time yet.

(Hat bought for my niece but I could not resist putting it on Lily.)

Day 87

Arizona soil is darn near
impossible to dig in
so I talked to my dad
who found these blocks
for nothing and will be
helping me build a raised bed
garden.

Day 86

My favorite kind of Christmas present
is one that was made by hand
with love for a special person.
