Once long ago,
I threw this back at you.
I broke both of
our hearts that day.
Now years later
we are still rebuilding
the trust in each other.
But it gets easier
every day to allow
my heart to love you.
And to accept that
you love me as well.

Six years ago
two people
joined their lives
to create one.
They have been
through so much
a never ending
roller coaster of
emotion
and love
and separation
and fear
and longing.
Every year
it gets better
they grow
together
and become closer
to that union
they promised
to be so long ago.

An abnormal sight in the Valley of the Sun.
His flight was late
and those were
the longest
twenty minutes
ever.

She played a few games
and won a ton of tickets
and for her prize,
she picked a velvet coloring page.

I love this dog
almost as much as
I love Lily.
Honestly.
She is 140 pounds
of drooling love.
She is an English Mastiff.
I wonder if they would
notice if she went missing
from their yard?
