while pouring
bread flour into
the large container,
it dusted the dogs,
and entire kitchen
in a thin layer
of white.

she didn’t care much
for the radish greens,
but she tried them again
and again.

a butterfly was lost
and ended up
flying around
our kitchen at night,
mean kitty was fascinated
by the movement.

after i took a few pictures,
she grabbed the camera,
and walked around taking
some of her own.

the goal was 365 days of photos.
it is done.
one full year
has come and gone
and one full year
has given everything
it had to give.
with each end
a new beginning
and for this,
a continuation.
for i am not done yet.

i love spiderwebs
the symmetry
the beauty
its hard for me
to knock them down
(i don’t mind spiders either)

i was attempting to
take a picture of her
eating a pear core
(she loves them,
and apples)
but instead
she looks like she
is talking.

i spotted him
racing around
our yard,
i told everyone
and we watched him,
while i tried to get
a picture of him,
until he leaped
onto the wall
and was gone.
