and puppy potty breaks
all night long
are taking their toll
on my sanity.

some days
my hair looks
reddish to me.
without changing
the color, whether
its just the lighting
or what i am wearing
i don’t know.
(and i haven’t dyed
all of it in about 6 months,
only re-bleached
the blond streak)

feeling good about myself
once again an attempt

Not too bad,
although
the lighting
is not good.
(Is it wrong that i love the out of focus face?)

sometimes
when you have
“plain boring brown eyes”
you feel left out
because the lighter
colored eyes
change so much
with clothes
and reflection.
but me?
i love my brown eyes
i love the color
and the way they
catch the light
glowing a
dark amber color
and often
matching my hair
