she didn’t care much
for the radish greens,
but she tried them again
and again.

Day 425

i love my nieces and nephews,
every single one.

Day 424

we were given
free tickets
to the auto show
for thanksgiving day.
she climbed in all the cars
and made sure they
were comfortable.

Day 423

we decided to see
the lights at the zoo
on the members only night.
then the crowd was
cut in about half.
the lights were lovely,
the weather ideal,
and it was perfect.

Day 422

Day 421

one of my birthday presents
was a new fan-light
for our downstairs bathroom.
part of the gift was
that he would install it,
and so monday he did.
but it was a bigger pain
than originally he thought
and we also found out why
the old one never worked
(the installer drilled a screw
right through the motor.)
but this one?
i love the way it looks.

Day 420

when i took the
necklace out,
she quietly told me
that she picked it out
and thought
i would love it,
and i do.

Day 419

my birthday was
the next day
so he took them
shopping to
pick out gifts.
